IMPORTANT POINTS REGARDING ADMISSION

Names are appeared on the Merit List do not mean the right of admission. Admission into different courses will be on the basis of Merit
and available seats.

After publication of Merit List, E-counselling lists will be published phase by phase (see the date schedule and check the online admission portal
time to time). Only the candidates appearing on the E_counselling list have to pay the Admission Fee either by online or offline mode. For offline payment candidates should print the e-challan and pay the fee at bank (within given date and time). After making payment a candidate has to report the college for physical verification, within the scheduled date and time, with required documents (see the document list mentioned below). After satisfactory verification a candidate will be admitted in the course and issued an enrolment number.

Note: Admission claim of an applicant will be cancelled and the admission fee will be forfeited for the following reasons. Candidates are asked to verify all the conditions carefully before making payment.

1. If a candidate fails to attend the college for verification within the given time

2. Any discrepancy found between the data provided in the online application form and the documents submitted

3. lack of any required document

4. SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate not obtained from the competent authority (if a candidate claims one of these categories) [see below "the documents to be submitted".]

5. If a candidate violates any of the Rules laid down by the Government, University of North Bengal and the College Authority Documents to be submitted at the time of verification:

* Original Mark Sheet of H.S. or equivalent Examination

* Original Admit Card of Madhyamik or equivalent Examination

* Original Certificate of date of birth

* Original SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by S.D.O. if belongs to one of these categories (in these cases only the certificate issued by the S.D.O. will be accepted)

* Original Certificate of disability from the competent authority if claims Physically Challenged Category

* Counter Part of bank challan

* Signed copy of Application Form along with photo copy of the above mentioned documents

* Two fresh stamp size recent coloured photo without any attestation or seal

* Cancel certificate if admitted in other college

After admission in a honours subject If a candidate is selected for another honours subject of his/her choice, and he/she is interested in getting admitted in the subject, then he/she further need not pay admission fee. He/she has to attend the college for Physical Verification within the given time and date and submit the above mentioned documents along with the Receipt issued by the college at the time of admission.

All the admissions are purely provisional. The College Authority or The University of North Bengal can cancel an admission for not complying with the Rules. A candidate can withdraw his/her admission by visiting the college office.

Candidates wish to take Geography and/or Education as elective subject(s), have to apply in prescribed format obtained from the college office at the time of admission.

After admission all students have to fill in the UNIVERSITY REGISTRATION FORM. |ntimation will be given later in this regard. Without registration the admission of a student will be cancelled.
